Mahendra Singh Dhoni pedals into EV space with EMotorad

MS Dhoni has joined EMotorad as an equity investor and brand ambassador.

EMotorad, a Pune-based electric vehicle (EV) startup focused on e-cycles, has partnered with the former Indian cricket team captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Dhoni has joined EMotorad as an equity investor. This move signifies his belief in the future of electric mobility and EMotorad’s vision for sustainable transportation solutions.

In addition to the investment, MSD has also assumed the role of the entity’s brand ambassador. He will leverage his immense popularity to promote the company’s e-cycles through endorsements and marketing campaigns.

EMotorad recently launched a television commercial (TVC) featuring the captain cool. The ad, with a playful twist on the popular Bollywood song “Bole Jo Koyal,” showcases Dhoni interacting with talking koyals (cuckoos) who represent EMotorad. The tagline, “We make impossible stuff happen,” emphasizes EMotorad’s commitment to innovation and making sustainable mobility accessible.

Expressing his enthusiasm for this collaboration, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, said, “The future is in our hands. The 42-year-old playing for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be facing off against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow this coming Friday, April 19, at 7:30 PM IST.
