Madrid Open strikes partnership extension with Estrella Damm

Following the extension, Estrella Damm will continue to be the official beer partner of the Madrid Open.

The top tier ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 event, Madrid Open has announced a five-year partnership extension with the Spanish beer brand, Estrella Damm.

Following the extension, Estrella Damm will continue to be the official beer partner of the Madrid Open. The two entities were associated in 2008 for the first time, with the new contract taking the sponsorship through 2027.

As per the deal, the brewery company will be using its branded lounge to offer music and entertainment to the spectators during the event. The agreement also confirms the brand’s presence around the venue and on the court. One of the beer brand’s subsidiaries, Fuente Liviana will continue as an official collaborator of the tournament.

The deal was signed by the general director of Estrella Damm, Jorge Villavecchia, and Gerard Tsobanian. 

Founded in 1876, and based in Barcelona, Spain, Estrella Damm is a premium beer entity that was formed by August Küntzmann Damm and his cousin Joseph Damm. It is the flagship beer of S.A. Damm, a prominent brewery in the city. It is the oldest brand prevalent in Spain. 

The esteemed tennis event had already partnered with Lacoste and Mutua Madrilena.

The world’s best tennis players are all ready to lock horns against each other in the 21st edition of the Madrid Open, which is all set to start on April 24, and will end on May 7. The winners of the last year’s edition in both Men and women’s singles categories respectively were – Carlos Alcaraz and Ons Jabeur.
