Leeds United land sponsorship deal with Unibet

Unibet is set to serve as Leeds United’s new official training wear partner from the beginning of the 2023/24 season.

The English Football League (EFL) club, Leeds United have announced a partnership with an online sports betting platform, Unibet.

As part of the deal, the brand is set to serve as the club’s new official training wear partner from the beginning of the 2023/24 season.

The Kindred Group, which also owns 32Red and is affiliated with Unibet, is known to the club supporters from a previous long-term connection, back when the team last played in the EFL Championship.

Kindred Group (formerly Unibet Group), which was established in 1997 to give consumers a better and safer option to place a wager in the contemporary digital environment, quickly established a devoted following of patrons all over the world. The Unibet brand offers a platform for online poker, bingo, online casino, and sports betting.

In this deal, the women’s team, men’s first team coaching staff, and training apparel for both teams will all have the Unibet logo.

In order to assist its clients in avoiding gambling harm, Kindred Group, one of the market leaders in the area of responsible gambling, has developed a comprehensive suite of tools and patented technologies. Kindred Group made the first worldwide online gaming announcement of its ‘Journey Towards Zero’ in 2020, stating its goal to generate no money from harmful gambling.

Sam Mead, Head of UK Marketing, Kindred Group, commented, “We are delighted to be linking up with Leeds United once again through this new partnership. Our industry-leading model of sponsorship provides benefits to both clubs and their communities – something we will drive forward throughout the season.”

Paul Bell, Executive Director, Leeds United, said, “We are pleased to welcome Unibet as our new official training wear partner. We have previously enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the Kindred Group through its 32Red brand which was on the front of our shirt when we were promoted as Championship Champions at the end of the 2019/20 season.”
