JioCinema, the official streaming platform of the Indian Premier League (IPL), has secured its first set of sponsors for the highly anticipated 2024 edition.

The OTT giant has announced six associate partners for IPL 2024: HDFC PayZapp, Dalmia Cement, SBI Bank, Britannia, Parle Hide & Seek, and Charged by Thums Up.

JioCinema isn’t just securing sponsors; the OTT platform is also amping up the pre-season excitement. In a recent development, the media streaming service unveiled an ad campaign, “TV Dekho Toh Aise“, featuring cricket legends Kapil Dev and Jasprit Bumrah. This campaign promises to redefine the way fans experience cricket.

Furthermore, JioCinema struck a deal with ShareChat and Moj, two popular short-form video platforms. This collaboration will bring bite-sized cricket content to millions of users, expanding JioCinema’s reach and fueling the IPL buzz.

IPL 2024 kicks off on March 22 with a southern derby, pitting the defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Cricket fans will be treated to a double-header on the next day, with a northern clash between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) in the afternoon, followed by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the evening.

As the IPL season approaches, JioCinema will likely announce additional sponsors.
