The Indian Super League (ISL) outfit, East Bengal FC, has lost both its matches of the ongoing season. While one could argue that fortune was not on their side against FC Goa, as they lost in the final minutes, the team looked far from prepared in their first game, which they played against Kerala Blasters FC.
The Red and Gold Brigades had embarked on a major renaissance prior to the season, changing their entire squad and coaching staff. Stephen Constantine, widely regarded as the man who effectively led the Indian national football team on numerous occasions, has been appointed manager of the team for the 2022/23 season.
Everyone associated with the historic club has had a difficult time over the last two seasons. Stephen and his troops will endeavour to forget it and write a prosperous future for the Red and Gold Brigades, as they have done for over a hundred years.

For the 2022/23 season, East Bengal FC have inked a partnership with Emami. With this development, Emami Group became the new investor in the century-old club.
Principal Sponsor:
The Bengal Brigade announced a principal sponsorship deal with 1xBat. In this partnership, the online sports news platform has its logo placed in front of the jersey for this season.
Kit Sponsor:
The giants from Kolkata have also announced the local sportswear company, Trak Only, as the new official kit partner for the ongoing season.

In this category, the Red and Gold Brigades have announced a partnership with the private hospital chain, AMRI Hospitals.
