The Indian pacer, Ishant Sharma has signed with the leading cricket NFT platform, Rario, becoming the latest cricketer to jump into the NFT bandwagon.
According to the terms of the agreement, Rario will produce exclusive digital collectibles of Ishant’s iconic moments, which will be available for fans to collect and trade on Rario’s platform.
Rario and Ishant announced this collaboration on their respective social media handles. The post said, “From ‘Han Karunga’ to 105 tests, I have had some great moments in my International Career. Now you will get a chance to re-live these moments with me in the form of my exclusive NFTs on @rariohq. #IshantJoinsRario”
In the video post, the 33-year-old said, “Hello guys, this is Ishant Sharma and I am on Rario, cricket’s largest NFT collectibles platform. So, see you all there.”
On the NFT platform, fans can buy and trade NFTs of their favourite cricketers and international leagues.
Rario has previously signed top cricketers like Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan, Rashid Khan, Smriti Mandhana, AB de Villiers, Prithvi Shaw, Shakib Al Hassan, Rishabh Pant, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shafali Verma, and Faf du Plessis.
Rario also obtained exclusive NFT rights of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Abu Dhabi T10 League, and the Howzat Legends League Cricket.
