IPL 2023 LSG vs DC: Match preview, head-to-head and streaming details

LSG lead the head-to-head competition against DC as they won both their fixtures against the latter in the previous edition.

In the second fixture of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will take on Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, in Lucknow tonight i.e. Saturday, Apri 1, 2023.

The KL Rahul-led side will be playing in front of its home ground for the first time since the team made its IPL debut. After a decent inaugural season, the side will look to recreate the effort and go a couple of steps ahead and win its inaugural IPL title. With the likes of Rahul, Quinton de Kock, Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran in the batting line-up, the Lucknow-based team is going to enter the field with robust artillery with the bat. The bowling line-up consists of a blend of experience and youth with Jaydev Unadkat, Krunal Pandya, Ravi Bishnoi and Amit Mishra.

On the other end, Delhi Capitals, who are already without their regular captain, Rishabh Pant, will have a big task ahead of them to fill the wicketkeeper-batter’s shoes. David Warner will yet again don the captain’s hat after his successful stint with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Sarfaraz Khan is likely to keep the wickets and is all set to get a series of games after stupendous work in the domestic circuit. The Delhi-based team will be counting on its star-studded batting line-up, Prithvi Shaw, Warner, Mitchell Marsh and Axar Patel, to finish in the top four as the side missed out last season by just one victory.
