In the 52nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, Punjab Kings (PBKS) will take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Saturday, May 7 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai at 3:30 PM IST.
The season for Punjab Kings has been full of highs and lows. They haven’t been consistent in the ongoing season despite having some big names in their squad. After losing to the struggling Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), RR are in desperate need of a victory to cement their spot in the top four of the leaderboard. The in-form Jos Buttler struggling to score runs at a healthy strike rate has it difficult for the team to put up a competitive total. The Sanju Samson-led team played 10 games so far, out of which they won six and lost four matches. RR have acquired the third spot on the table with 12 points.

RR have the upper hand in the head-to-head competition. The two teams faced off on 23 occasions, Rajasthan won 13 games while Punjab emerged victorious on 10 occasions.
