IPL 2021: Delhi Capitals sign partnership deal with Matrix Fitness

Indian Premier League franchise Delhi Capitals have announced a partnership deal with Matrix Fitness. The deal will see them become the Fitness Equipment Partner of Delhi Capitals ahead of phase 2 of IPL 2021. 

Along with the deal, Matrix Fitness will be providing all kinds of necessary equipment from each player’s gym gear as they go into phase 2 of the IPL 2021. 

Matrix Fitness offers a plethora of fitness products with treadmills, stationary bicycles, elliptical trainers, weight training machines, etc., owned by Johnson Health Tech, the company boasts more than 500 commercial health products. 

Phase 2 of IPL 2021 resumes from 19th September in the UAE with Chennai Super Kings taking on Mumbai Indians in the first game. Delhi Capitals, however, will face Sunrisers Hyderabad on 22nd September as their first matchup of the rescheduled IPL. 

Delhi Capitals currently tops the points table with 12 points in eight games as they are closely followed by Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Mumbai Indians who have acquired spots in the top four of the table. 

Ahead of the second phase of IPL, every team will be planning and strategizing to secure a place in the knockout stages of the competition. The bottom half of the table sees Rajasthan Royals (5th), Punjab Kings (6th), Kolkata Knight Riders (7th), and Sunrisers Hyderabad (8th).
