Partners and Star TV sponsors of the upcoming IPL 2021

Chinese company VIVO is once again the title sponsor of the IPL.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is undoubtedly the biggest sporting tournament in India, having the fans excited year after year with an entertaining brand of T20 cricket that features some of the biggest names from international cricket

IPL 2021 has landed a plethora of sponsors for the upcoming phase 2 of the season. The T20 tournament had to be indefinitely suspended due to the pandemic earlier this year, but the remainder of the competition will take place in the UAE from 19th September.

Chinese company VIVO is once again the title sponsor of the IPL after missing out last year as Dream 11 grabbed the title sponsor rights.

Star Sports is the official broadcaster of the IPL 2021 and Disney+ Hotstar is the official digital streaming partner of the competition.

IPL 2021 has many co-presenting sponsors with Dream 11, Byju’s and PhonePe being some of the many.

Star and Disney India have landed as many as 12 TV and ten digital sponsors for IPL 2021, reportedly around 90-100 brands will be advertising the competition on television and about 160-200 brands will be promoting IPL on the digital platforms.

Phase 2 is all set to begin on 19th September in the UAE with Chennai Super Kings taking on Mumbai Indians in the first game of the rescheduled competition, every franchise will be looking to secure a place in the knockout stages.

Delhi Capitals currently lead the points table with 12 points in eight games with CSK and RCB have 10 points each in seven matches. MI is in fourth place with eight points in seven games.
