Inter Milan re-unite with SWM Motorcycles

Following this development, SWM Motorcycles has been named Inter Milan's official motorcycle partner.

The Serie A team, Inter Milan FC have inked a sponsorship pact with an Italian motorcycle manufacturer, SWM Motorcycles.

Following this development, the brand has been named the club’s official motorcycle partner for the remainder of the 2023-24 season. Prior to this, SWM Motorcycles was an official partner of Inter between 2017 and 2019. The current deal was formally signed at the Inter HQ in Milan, demonstrating Inter’s ongoing dedication to China and the close relations between the two nations.

SWM Motorcycles is strategically positioned in Lombardia, Italy, which is the motorcycling industry’s beating centre. SWM’s mission is to develop motorbikes with quality, enthusiasm, and a focus on meeting customer expectations.

The collaboration honours the joint effort between two businesses that share Chinese ownership in addition to their Lombardy origins, two distinguishing characteristics that have aided both companies’ expansion in the East and globally and made them two global icons of Italian success.

Alessandro Antonello, CEO Corporate FC Internazionale Milano, said, “We are delighted to welcome SWM Motorcycles back as a partner again following our previous collaboration and look forward to consolidating the excellent relationship we began in 2017. This partnership brings together two iconic world-renowned Italian brands who share deep ties with Asia and great ambitions for the future.”

Giuseppe Luisi, General Manager of SWM Motorcycles, said, “Once again it is a source of pride for SWM Motorcycles to be an official partner of FC Internazionale Milano. SWM Motorcycles and Inter have much in common, from their Chinese ownership to their Lombardy origins, not to mention the great success achieved throughout history. SWM Motorcycles is aiming to be an increasingly international brand, developing and producing vehicles ever more in line with consumer expectations. After all, motorbikes are a bit like football – they excite and enthuse.”

Before this deal, the club also inked partnerships with U-Power, Nike, Enel, BPER Banca, La Molisana, and Santa Margherita.

The Nerazzurri are currently second in the points table with 19 points, courtesy of six wins, a loss, and a draw each. The side will next take on Torino FC on October 21.
