India tour of West Indies 2023 3rd ODI: Match preview, head-to-head and streaming details

India prevailed in 71 of the 141 games played between the two countries, while the West Indies won 64 of them.

In the third ODI match of the three-match series, India will take on the West Indies at the  Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad today i.e. August 1 at 7:00 PM IST.

With the series tied at 1-1, it’s all down to this third and final match of the ODI series. India tested their bench strength in the second match which didn’t work out as they got all out for just 181 in 41 overs. With ICC ODI Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 just around the corner, having these many experiments can call for an error as well. For the third ODI though, will Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli be back in the XI? That’s still to be known but what’s needed is for the rest of the team to remain stable and outperform the home side. Players like Suryakumar Yadav, Shubman Gill and Hardik Pandya need to buckle up and provide India series win tonight irrespective of whether the two senior cricketers are included or not. With the ball as well, while Mukesh Kumar did perform well, Shardul Thakur and Jaydev Unadkat need to step up as well.

For the home side though, the team achieved their only win of the series in the last ODI. The team will look to continue the momentum and go in the third ODI will possibly the same XI. Skipper Shai Hope is looking in excellent shape and along with him, Kyle Mayers also showed character while opening the innings. Moreover, Keacy Carty played a handy knock and will look to provide the same in the final ODI. Although WI still doesn’t have a lot of power to outperform the Indian side, fans know they would go for the win no matter what. Gudakesh Motie, Romario Shepherd and Alzarri Joseph showed intent with the ball and will likely go all out once again tonight against the visitors.
