Happy Birthday Shikhar Dhawan: A look at the opening batter’s net worth, endorsements, investments and charity

Shikhar Dhawan is well-known for his accurate batting and is remarkably well-liked among young people due to his social media presence.

One of the most destructive opening batters of the Indian cricket team, Shikhar Dhawan, turned 37 today i.e. December 5, 2022.

Shikhar Dhawan rose to prominence following an extraordinary run in the 2004 U-19 World Cup, in which he scored 505 runs with three centuries. Nevertheless, due to the high level of competition at the time, it took him ages to make it to the Indian team. Dhawan, an instinctually offensive left-handed opener, has long been a mainstay of the Delhi line-up, forming an invincible top-order with Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag, scoring runs by the barrel with them. Experts praised him for his willingness to dig in and play the big innings.

Dhawan has battled for form in the longer format, with some minor flaws in his armour such as a predisposition to poke outside off and play alongside the line of the ball rather than over it at all times.

He has, notwithstanding, been an important member of Team India, particularly in International Cricket Council (ICC) trophies, and has established one of the best ODI opening pairs with his companion, Rohit Sharma, since 2013.

Dhawan was India’s leading run-scorer in the 2013 Champions Trophy, 2015 World Cup, and 2017 Champions Trophy. He also became the first player in the Indian Premier League (IPL) history to score two consecutive centuries. For his efforts in the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy, the Delhi-based player was named ‘Player of the Tournament.’
