The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Gujarat Titans (GT) have inked a sponsorship extension with the renowned digital services company, Jio.
In this development, the Indian telecommunications company has been named the associate partner of GT for IPL 2024. In addition, the Jio logo will continue to be featured on the leading arm of the team jerseys.
The 2022 IPL champions used their social media handles to announce this esteemed agreement. The post said, “Faster. Stronger. Connected. We are delighted to team up with Jio as our associate partner!”
Jio, a Reliance Industries subsidiary, was created in 2007 in Ahmedabad and is now based in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The telecom business manages an LTE network that provides coverage in all 22 telecom circles. In one of the company’s most recent advances, Jio has begun providing 5G services in 50 cities across India.
Before this deal, the Shubman Gill-led unit also announced sponsorship deals with RAYZON SOLAR, Advance Decorative Laminates, Dream11 and Elemnt Sports Science.
The Gujarat-based team, in its quest to win the second trophy, will begin its 2024 IPL journey against Mumbai Indians (MI) on Sunday, March 24 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
