The sports data and technology company, Genius Sports has announced a partnership extension with Brazil’s national basketball league, Liga Nacional de Basquete (LNB).
As part of the deal, the firm will continue to act as an exclusive official data and integrity partner for the new season.
The sports technology provider will offer International Basketball Federation (FIBA) LiveStats for all LNB contests, recording and disseminating official, play-by-play data to power in-stadium scoreboards, league and team social media channels, and various other fan-facing digital platforms.
Furthermore, this official live game data stream, which is made available to sportsbooks all over the world to fuel real-time betting markets, has been hailed as “integral” to all LNB live broadcasts.

The LNB will continue to be protected by the London-based company against the ‘crucial’ concerns of match-fixing and betting-related wrongdoing.

Genius Sports most recently also disclosed a multi-year agreement with the national professional basketball league of Vietnam, the Vietnam Pro Basketball League (VBA). The analytics and technology firm will aid in the league’s imminent phase of worldwide growth while safeguarding its games against the risk of match-fixing through the distribution of live streaming and integrity services.
