This partnership reflects F1's commitment to its growing and diverse fanbase, offering fans the chance to experience the sport beyond the racetrack.

Formula 1, the world’s premier motorsport series, has announced a new multi-year partnership with Playseat, a leading manufacturer of racing simulators.

This collaboration brings together the excitement of F1 with Playseat’s expertise in creating immersive home racing experiences.

Playseat will leverage its two decades of experience to develop a range of premium racing simulators catering to both casual and professional gamers. The lineup will include versatile and accessible sim racing seats alongside high-end professional simulators designed to replicate the feel of a real F1 cockpit.

This partnership reflects F1’s commitment to its growing and diverse fanbase, offering fans the chance to experience the sport beyond the racetrack, right in their living rooms.

Playseat’s dedication to replicating the authentic F1 driving experience is evident in its development process. The company has worked closely with F1 drivers and professional sim racers to ensure their cutting-edge technology and finely tuned equipment deliver an unparalleled level of realism.

Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer at Formula 1, said, “We are always looking for new ways to bring Formula 1 to our audience, whether that’s by creating unforgettable moments at a Grand Prix or engaging with the sport away from the track. Our partnership with Playseat will provide gamers with a bespoke, innovative, and realistic racing experience to bring the action a step closer to home.”

Fernando Smit, President and Founder of Playseat, said, “With over 25 years of research and development with real F1 drivers, Playseat has become the undisputed standard in delivering unrivalled realism. We have always strived to bring racing to the people and now we can bring the true F1 racing experience and racing position to everyone around the world.”

Founded in 1995 with the vision of creating the ultimate home racing experience, Playseat has established itself as a leader in the off-track racing market. The company is renowned for bringing the high-quality designs found in real F1 cockpits directly to consumers around the world. Playseat’s unwavering commitment to quality and innovation continues today, offering a range of products that cater to every type of racer, from casual enthusiasts to aspiring professionals. Playseat fosters collaboration, having established successful partnerships with industry giants like Red Bull, Mercedes, World Rally Championship (WRC), and Puma. These collaborations all share a common goal: to provide every racer with the opportunity to experience the thrill, competition, and potential for victory enjoyed by professional drivers.

This partnership aligns with F1’s recent strategic efforts to expand its global reach. The series recently extended its deal with trading card giant Topps and signed regional sponsorship agreements with McDonald‘s, FanCode, and beIN Sports. These initiatives all contribute to F1’s goal of cultivating a wider and more diverse fanbase.
