FanCode bags rights to stream Bayern’s and Barcelona’s Pre-season

FanCode recently received a $50 million investment from Dream Sports, which aims to help expand the business by establishing more strategic partnerships and strengthening its leadership team.

FanCode, an online media streaming platform in India, has won six pre-season friendly matches including Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich and Spanish La Liga club Barcelona. The FanCode broadcast began on Saturday when Bayern drew Dutch club Ajax 22 at the Audi Football Summit. It will also broadcast Bayern’s game in the same exhibition match against Napoli in Italian Serie A on July 31, as well as the Bundesliga game against Mönchengladbach tomorrow (Wednesday). 

FanCode recently received a $50 million investment from Dream Sports, which aims to help expand the business by establishing more strategic partnerships and strengthening its leadership team. Earlier this year, Dream Sports raised $400 million in the second round of funding, increasing the company’s total value to nearly $5 billion.

FanCode will provide personalized sports exposure to Indian sports fans through many user-first features for all the LIVE action from the club pre-season friendlies. Some of these offerings include interactive live streaming with customizable data overlays, multimedia commentary, in-depth sports statistics and analytics, real-time match highlights, multiple audio feeds, and much more.

The FanCode coverage of Barcelona’s preseason will include the club’s game against Bundesliga team Stuttgart on July 31 and Austrian Bundesliga champion Salzburg Red Bull on August 4.

FanCode will also broadcast the match between Barcelona and the Serie A clubs. On August 8, Juventus celebrated the famous final of the Joan Gamper Cup at Camp Nou. Earlier this month, FanCode won exclusive rights to the new England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) national competition in India.

Dream Sports, the parent company of FanCode, signed a four-year agreement with the European Central Bank before the start of the first season of Centurion on July 21.

In April, FanCode obtained the exclusive rights to broadcast West Indies home cricket matches and matches. India. The four-year agreement covers approximately 150 international and 250 national cricket matches. FanCode also owns the rights to the Bundesliga, Major League Baseball, and the NFL in India.
