New Zealand vs West Indies: Fancode to stream T20 series in India

After a long break due to the pandemic, international cricket is set to return in full flow at the end of November. Multiple series are set to be played between different countries as international cricket looks to regain normalcy. New Zealand cricket team gears up to face West Indies at home turf. The tour of New Zealand for Windies starts with the T-20 series. Indian cricket fans will be able to watch these games on Fancode.

The first T-20 between Kiwis and West Indies is set to take place on November 27. Fancode will stream the game on their website and mobile applications. Fans in India can pay to watch a single match or buy the tour pass to stream all T-20 games. The test series between the two sides is unlikely to be streamed on this platform as the tour pass only mentions T-20 games.

New Zealand cricket had recently announced a long-term deal with Amazon Prime India. However, that deal is set to kick in from the summer of 2021/22. Until then, other platforms such as Fancode are likely to get the chance to stream games played in New Zealand. Star Sports Network and Hotstar used to stream international games in New Zealand, but that is unlikely to happen during the series against West Indies.

The focus on international T-20 games is set to increase since there are two back to back World Cups in 2021 and 2022. International teams will be looking to find the balance and rhythm by playing as many T-20 games before the 2021 T-20 World Cup in India.

Along with the three-match T-20 series, New Zealand will also play two test matches against West Indies. The test series is also pivotal for New Zealand as they have a strong chance of making it to the final of the test championship after the points table was tweaked by the International Cricket Council (ICC) in November.
