FanCode acquires digital media rights to Lanka Premier League 2023

The Lanka Premier League 2023 can be enjoyed on the FanCode app from July 30.

India’s sports-focused live-streaming platform, FanCode has acquired rights to the upcoming season of the Sri Lankan T20 competition, Lanka Premier League (LPL) in India.

The games for the fourth iteration of the greatest T20 competition in Sri Lanka will be held in Colombo and Kandy from July 30 to August 20, 2023.

Galle Titans (formerly known as Galle Gladiators), Jaffna Kings, Colombo Strikers, Dambulla Aura and B-Love Kandy (formerly known as Kandy Falcons, Kandy Warriors, and Kandy Tuskers) are the five teams competing in this year’s event. Along with famous Sri Lankan athletes like Angelo Mathews, Wanindu Hasaranga and Dasun Shanaka superstars like David MillerBabar Azam and Shakib Al Hasan have confirmed their participation.

FanCode also currently have rights to Pro Panja League (PPL), FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, India tour of West Indies 2023 and more.

Meanwhile, to cater to the audience on television, Star Sports has acquired exclusive television media rights to the LPL 2023.
