EuroLeague Basketball, Fantaking renew collaboration until 2027

With the new three-year agreement, Fantaking will continue to have the licence to run the EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge online fantasy sports platforms.

The European men’s professional basketball club competition, EuroLeague Basketball has announced a partnership renewal with the fantasy sports app, FantaKing.

With the new three-year agreement, Fantaking will continue to have the licence to run the EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge online fantasy sports platforms. The multi-year association, which started in 2021, was initially scheduled to end in 2024.

Furthermore, Fantaking will continue to run the EuroCup Fantasy Challenge service in tandem with the EuroLeague, providing the same services.

The contract renewal contains measures for rebranding the two Fantasy Challenge games, in addition to the launch of a new mobile app in September 2024, which will improve product adoption and fan engagement.

Senior Director, Marketing and Communications, EuroLeague, Alex Ferrer Kristjansson, commented, “We are thrilled to renew our ongoing collaboration with Fantaking and keep on building on the unprecedented success the Fantasy Challenge game has had ever since this partnership started. EuroLeague and EuroCup Fantasy Challenge products are two key assets of our gamification strategy as they allow fans to engage with the competitions in a different way, independently of their degree of knowledge on the game.”

Fantaking, Co-founder, Alessandro Molinari, said, “As EuroLeague Basketball excels in driving fan engagement, our collaboration seamlessly aligns with their strategy. We are proud to stand alongside EuroLeague Basketball as a trusted partner, contributing to the league’s expansion and brand recognition.”
