DP World, a worldwide leader in smart end-to-end supply chain logistics, has launched a new TV campaign ‘We move Cricket, so that Cricket moves you’ in collaboration with the cricketing icon, Sachin Tendulkar.
The television commercial highlights DP World’s logistical skills in making cricket viable all across the globe, including this year’s ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.
The TVC, created by BBH, directed by Lloyd Baptista, and produced by Prodigious, depicts the narrative of Sachin and explores how logistics link the world of cricket worldwide. The God of Cricket is sprinting through a field when he notices a DP World container in front of him. He chooses to enter the shipping container, and upon entering, he is carried to a cricket bat factory, where he watches the precise procedure of cricket bat preparation.
We keep following Sachin as he enters a succession of containers, each of which serves as a doorway into one of the fundamental components of cricket, from the pitch’s grass to the stadium seats. In the TVC’s climax, the former Indian cricketer walks out onto a cricket stadium and realizes that the sport wouldn’t be conceivable without the astute logistics that support it.

Starting today, the advertising effort will be carried out on television and digital platforms until the conclusion of the World Cup on November 19. It will also be available on DP World’s global social media platforms.

The TVC is part of DP World’s greater goal of going across borders to make cricket feasible. Earlier this month, DP World introduced the Beyond Boundaries Initiative as part of this target.
DP World will use its integrated global network across 75 nations and six continents to deliver 50 shipping containers full of cricket kits and vital equipment to grassroots cricket teams throughout the world. The containers will be dispersed over the following five years.
