Digi Sport secures media rights of five European football leagues

Digi Sport has acquired the media rights of the Premier League for the next three seasons.

Digi Sport, which is operated by RCS & RDS currently has the media rights of all five prime European football competitions, Bundesliga, La Liga, Ligue 1, Serie A, and the Premier League. 

Digi Sport has acquired the media rights of the Premier League for the next three seasons.

Digi Sport, Look Sport, and Telec Telekom Romania all have the rights to La Liga and Serie A in Romania. It extended its rights with Germany’s Bundesliga in a contract running from 2021–2022 to 2024–25 and it also has rights of broadcasting the French top-flight Ligue 1 till the end of the 2023–24 season.

The media rights deal with the UEFA Champions League has been inked till the finale of the 2023-24 campaign. 

Digi Sport will be associating with the Premier League for the second time as the Romanian sports television have also held the media rights of the English top-flight from 2010-11 to 2012-13. 

Digi Sport will be broadcasting the high octane European football competition’s fixtures on Digi 4K, the digisport.ro website and also via the recently launched-free Digi Online smartphone.
