FC Bayern Munich onboard Bitpanda as official crypto and trading sponsor

Through this deal, Bitpanda will be gaining significant brand visibility during all FC Bayern Munich's home fixtures.

The Bundesliga team, FC Bayern Munich have signed a partnership with the Austrian crypto company, Bitpanda.

As per the contract, Bitpanda has been named the official crypto and trading sponsor of FC Bayern Munich.

Through this deal, the crypto company will be gaining significant brand visibility during all the Bayern home games. 

Jan-Christian Dreesen, Chief Executive of Bayern Munich, commented, “Like FC Bayern, Bitpanda is the market leader in its field. We want to achieve our goals together in the future.”

Andreas Jung, Bayern’s Chief Marketing Officer, said, “Bayern Munich and Bitpanda are united by a strong winning mentality and the expectation of themselves to get better every day. For us, these shared values are the perfect basis for a long-term partnership.”

Lukas Enzersberger-Konrad, Deputy Chief Executive of Bitpanda, remarked, “Bayern Munich are record champions. Bitpanda is the market leader in Europe. Both together in a partnership: That’s a good fit!”

Bitpanda GmbH is an Austrian company with its corporate headquarters located in Vienna. Users can use Bitpanda’s trading platform, which includes cryptocurrency exchange, commodities and securities trading, and exchange-traded ETFs, by using its mobile app. Bitpanda employed approximately 500 people, had 2.7 million users, and was valued at over USD 4 billion by 2021.

The Bavarians are currently standing second in the German top flight’s league table, as they have secured 41 points, which includes 13 wins, two draws, and one loss. Their most recent success came against Hoffenheim, as they demolished the opposition by a 3-0 scoreline.
