Cricket Australia, Weber Barbecues sign partnership extension

The initial partnership between the two parties was inked ahead of the last season in September 2021.

The Australian cricket governing body, Cricket Australia, has signed a partnership extension with Weber Barbecues for the naming rights of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL).

With this development, Weber Barbecues will prolong to be the title rights holder of the competition till the conclusion of the 2023/24 season. The initial partnership between the two parties was inked ahead of the last season in September 2021.

Speaking on the collaboration, Alistair Dobson, CA’s General Manager of Big Bash Leagues said, “Both Weber and the WBBL are world class in their field, but both also share strong links to the essence of summer: fun, family, food and cricket.

“We look forward to working with Weber over the next two seasons to strengthen these ties and deliver a brilliant experience to our fans nationwide.”
