Chicago Bulls renew collaboration with Klarna

The collaboration between Chicago Bulls and Klarna will keep its focus on fans and give the club experiences when the new NBA season gets underway.

The National Basketball Association (NBA) team, Chicago Bulls have announced a new sponsorship extension with an e-commerce specialist, Klarna.

The collaboration will keep its focus on fans and give the club experiences when the new NBA season gets underway.

One of the partnership’s main initiatives will be in-seat shopping, which will let supporters buy specific Bulls merchandise from the Madhouse Team Store and have it delivered right to their seats while the game is going on.

In an effort to maximize its partnership with one of the NBA’s most recognizable teams, Klarna has also worked closely as a brand ambassador with Bulls guard Ayo Dosunmu.

Megan Gokey, Head of B2C Marketing, Klarna, commented, “We’re thrilled to work with the Chicago Bulls as their Official Shopping Partner for another season and provide passionate Bulls fans with innovative ways to express their fandom and access unique merchandise while at the game. Having Randy Brown – a member of the Bulls from 1995-2000 – surprise one fan at the home opener is a great example of the other great ways we look forward to connecting with fans at the United Center this season.”

Dosunmu, said, “I’m thrilled to partner with Klarna and help spread the word about their ability to deliver merchandise directly to the fans’ seats during the game. It is a huge plus for the Bulls community that Klarna’s work with the team is providing our dedicated fans with whatever they need so they don’t have to miss a second of gameplay.”

Klarna was started in 2005 in Sweden with the goal of making internet shopping more convenient. The aim of the brand is to make payment as easy, safe, and, above all, smooth as possible.

Klarna is the largest worldwide payments and shopping service, offering better and more flexible buying experiences to 150 million active consumers in 45 countries through over 500,000 retailers. Klarna provides direct payments, pay-after-delivery alternatives, and installment plans in a simple one-click buying process that allows customers to pay when and how they choose.
