The Rupay Prime Volleyball League (PVL) outfit, Calicut Heroes have announced a collaboration with Ubralla. With this association, the brand has been named as the official associate sponsor of the Kerala-based team for the upcoming edition of PVL.
The new deal was announced on the official Instagram account of Calicut Heroes.
The Calicut Heroes will be led by Charles Jerome Vinith and mentored by Sajjad Hussain Malik in the upcoming PVL edition. The squad consists of 16 players, including four attackers, three blockers, two setters, one libero, and a couple of universals.
This is Calicut’s first sponsorship announcement, the Kolkata Thunderbolts have several brands under their sponsorship umbrella. On Wednesday, the team was joined by Soulfuel and Travel Delights. Soulfuel was named the official nutrition partner, and Travel Delights was named the official travel partner. Moreover, Radio Mirchi was announced as an official entertainment partner of the Kolkata-based outfit for the upcoming season.
The tournament will be held at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, with the home team, the Hyderabad Black Hawks, taking on Kochi Blue Spikers in the season opener.
The tournament will feature 24 matches played over the course of 23 days.
On February 7, the Calicut Heroes will kick off their Prime Volleyball League campaign against the Kolkata Thunderbolts.
