BT Sport to broadcast UEFA matches for free in the UK

All three finals will be available to watch for free on BT Sport's website and on the BT Sport YouTube channel.

BT Sport announced that the 2022 UEFA Champions League (UCL), UEFA Europa League (UEL), and UEFA Europa Conference League (UECL) finals will be broadcast live on TV, online and on mobile devices for free in the UK.

All three finals will be available to watch for free on BT Sport’s website and on the BT Sport YouTube channel through the use of the BT Sport App for mobile and TV devices.

Jamie Hindhaugh, Head of BT Sport, commented, “It has been another hugely entertaining season of football across all three UEFA club competitions, highlighted by British clubs making two of the finals once again. 

“BT Sport’s coverage of Rangers’ UEFA Europa League Final against Eintracht Frankfurt will be live from Seville on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate on 18 May. 

“Commentary will be led by  Darrell Currie with input from other team members including Ally McCoist, Kenny Miller and Owen Hargreaves, Alex Rae, Stephen Craigan, Rory Hamilton and Emma Dodds.

“We’re delighted to round these European campaigns off by making the live action from all three finals available for anyone to watch for free on the BT Sport website, app or YouTube channel.”

The AS Roma v Feyenoord UECL final will air on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate on May 25, while the 2022 UCL final between Liverpool FC and Real Madrid will air on May 28.

The last episode of the Champions League Immortals, where the ultimate UCL Immortals team will be determined in a studio conversation with Seema Jaswal, Rio Ferdinand, Joe Cole, and Michael Owen, will air at 5 PM on BT Sport ahead of the UEFA Champions League final.

The UCL final will air on May 29, 2022, at 12:30 AM IST; and the UEL and UECL finals will air on May 19, 2022, at 12:30 AM IST and May 26, 2022, at 12:30 AM IST respectively.
