British Basketball League extends alliance with Molten

As per the renewal, Molten will continue to be the official basketball provider of both men's and women's games in British Basketball League.

The professional basketball league in Britain, the British Basketball League has secured an alliance extension with the Japanese basketball manufacturer, Molten.

As per the renewal, Molten will continue to be the official basketball provider of both men’s and women’s games in the marquee basketball league.

Through this extension, the league will continue using Molten’s BG4500 national elite model balls as the official match balls. 

Additionally, the entity’s branding will be featured at all matches in the men’s and women’s leagues, including the playoffs, championships, and all-star games for each league, as part of the agreement.

Furthermore, the brand will also be seen sponsoring the league’s Player of the Year and Coach of the Year awards.

Aaron Radin, Chief Executive, British Basketball League, said, “We are proud to be extending its partnership with Molten who have played a vital role during the 20 years in which they have supported the growth of the League.” 

He further stated, “As excitement continues to rise both around the League, its clubs, and the game as a whole, it’s great to see Molten commit during a vital time in our growth.”

The Japanese brand has a rich history of association with the sport, as in September, it also secured a partnership extension with FIBA, in which it will continue to serve as the official match ball provider in all the FIBA competitions, that also included the FIBA World Cup
