Birmingham 2022 associates with multiple sponsors

The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games will take place between Thursday, July 28 - Monday, August 8 2022.

The 2022 Commonwealth Games has added four industry-leading firms to its portfolio of sponsors. The developments continue as the world waits for the international multi-sport event to commence.

Lucozade Sport has been named the official sports drink of Birmingham 2022, marking an iconic partnership that will deliver refreshments to thousands of athletes during the event. Lucozade Sport estimates providing around 102,000 litres of sports drinks to elite athletes from around the world.

Bruntwood, a major commercial property developer, has been designated the event’s official commercial property development provider. The company has also pledged to support the Business & Tourism Programme, the first approved Commonwealth Games programme of its kind.

Biffa has been named the official waste management and recycling provider. As part of this responsibility, Biffa will guarantee that all trash generated during the Games is handled, processed, and disposed of in a sustainable manner.

Airbnb has inked a deal to become the Games’ official hosting provider. Birmingham 2022 is projected to draw over one million spectators from across the world, as well as over 4,500 athletes.

The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games will take place between Thursday, July 28 – Monday, August 8 2022.

Their industry knowledge and partnership working will contribute to an incredible edition of the Commonwealth Games this summer.”
