beIN Sports extends LALIGA broadcast deal in France for another two seasons

beIN Sports has been home to LALIGA since 2012, and the new agreement extends the partnership for 14 years.

The Qatar-based sports channel, beIN Sports has developed a broadcast renewal agreement with LALIGA in France for at least two more seasons.

The media outlet has been home to the Spanish top-tier league since 2012, and the new agreement extends the partnership for 14 years, until 2026. The last agreement between the two covered the 2021–24 cycle.

LALIGA is one of the nation’s finest foreign leagues, and beIN’s extension comes at a pivotal moment, with the French superstar Kylian Mbappe‘s long-awaited move to Real Madrid announced recently.

Since beIN agreed upon its last contract with LALIGA, multiple top French players have left the league, including Ousmane Dembele and Karim Benzema. Nevertheless, Antoine Griezmann is still playing in Spain for Atletico Madrid, and Mbappe will be joined by several more French international teammates at Real Madrid, including Aurélien Tchouaméni, Eduardo Camavinga, and Ferland Mendy.

Additional sports leagues and events displayed on beIN in France consist of the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Football League (NFL), the National Hockey League (NHL), and the Wimbledon championships.
