Sony Pictures Networks India obtains exclusive media rights to India tour of Zimbabwe 2024

All of the live-action from the India tour of Zimbabwe will be available on Sony Sports Network in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and English.

The renowned sports broadcasting company, Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has secured exclusive television and digital rights for the upcoming India tour of Zimbabwe 2024.

A young Indian team, under a new coach, is anticipated to travel to Harare for the intriguing T20 cricket series, slated to take place from July 6 to July 14, 2024.

All of the live-action from the series will be available on Sony Sports Network in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and English. Sony Sports Ten 3 (Hindi), Sony Sports Ten 4 (Tamil / Telugu), and Sony Sports Ten 5 (SD & HD) will all broadcast the five-match T20I series.

Rajesh Kaul, Chief Revenue Officer – Distribution & International Business and Head – Sports Business, Sony Pictures Networks India, said, “We are extremely delighted to announce the broadcast of India Tour of Zimbabwe, which adds value to our existing portfolio of cricket properties. Viewers can expect to witness an exciting series as the Indian cricket team gears up to showcase their skill and sheer quality against Zimbabwe.”

Tavengwa Mukuhlani, Zimbabwe Cricket Chairman, said, “We are looking forward to hosting the Indian cricket team in Harare for an exciting T201 series. We are aware of the massive fan following for cricket in India and are glad to see Sony Sports Network broadcasting this series to cater to their audience.”

SPNI, recently, also obtained exclusive television and digital rights to broadcast and stream all matches played by New Zealand Cricket (NZC) for the next seven years. Furthermore, the media outlet also renewed its media rights deal with UEFA for another three seasons.
