Following the partnership, HubSpot has been named the official founding partner and the club’s exclusive customer platform.
The collaboration will also be prominently displayed at ACFC home games, featuring LED displays at BMO Stadium in downtown Los Angeles. The software developer entity will also gain access to select player appearances, executive engagements, game day hospitality, and initiatives to improve players’ education and access to the HubSpot platform, particularly those players pursuing entrepreneurial endeavours, as part of the deal.
The arrangement will also help ACFC to have access to the HubSpot customer platform, from engagement hubs to the Smart CRM, unlocking crucial tools that will help the club enhance its relationship with the different groups that comprise the club’s growing community. HubSpot will help ACFC accelerate its already rocket growth by driving stronger connections across marketing and sales operations.
As with each ACFC sponsor, HubSpot and ACFC will reinvest 10% of the partnership back into the community via the club’s unique Angel City Sponsorship Model. In this case, the combined influence of the two organisations will be channeled into reinforcing the Player 22 Fund, which fosters resources and funding opportunities for female and non-binary former soccer players as they embark on their entrepreneurial careers. HubSpot’s involvement goes beyond financial contributions; grantees of the Player 22 Fund will also have access to the HubSpot platform, allowing them to better connect with their communities.
In addition, both bodies will collaborate to create an engaging content series that will be published on LinkedIn, a “Women in Sales” event, and a thought leadership dinner, extending the collaboration’s value beyond the traditional sponsorship model.
Julie Uhrman, ACFC President and Co-Founder, said, “Angel City has always thought of itself as a startup, prioritizing partners who believe in the club’s mission and purpose. As a champion of growing businesses, HubSpot is the perfect addition to the ACFC roster—especially as we continue to push ourselves to evolve, grow and find efficiencies.”
Yamini Rangan, CEO of HubSpot, said, “HubSpot is thrilled to become a Founding Partner of ACFC, a team whose values closely mirror our own. HubSpot has always believed in a world where more businesses can access technology to connect and grow better. We’re honored to be the platform powering ACFC as they pave the way for a new and important generation of sports entrepreneurship”.
