LaLiga launches MBA program with Aspire Zone Foundation

The initial period of the program would kickstart from February 2022.

The Spanish football league, LaLiga, has announced the launch of a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) program in Sports and Entertainment in Doha, Qatar in 2022. This initiative was unveiled by the education unit of the league that is LaLiga Business School and its commercial partner, Aspire Zone Foundation (AFZ).

The MBA program includes a vast range of studies like marketing, media and entertainment, disruption transformation, innovation and entrepreneurship and other significant subjects. The association of expertise of the business school and AFZ’s elite sporting infrastructure would drive a high-quality education that will allow the graduates to flourish in their chosen careers in sports.

The initial period of the program would kickstart from February 2022 to November 2022 offering in-person classes in Doha and monthly webinars. The course will also inculcate an educational five-day trip to London and Madrid.

On this smart collaboration, Óscar Mayo, the Executive Director of LaLiga said, “For LaLiga, education is a key pillar of its philosophy as an Institution. AFZ signed an MoU with LaLiga in 2019 to develop and enhance sporting talent. AFZ has world-class venues, facilities, research and medical centres and has a strong portfolio in the sports and entertainment industry.
