La Liga launches official store in collaboration with Amazon

Initially, this experience has been made available to the fans located in the United Kingdom, France, and Germany.

The Spanish top-flight, La Liga has penned down a partnership with one of the biggest e-commerce brands, Amazon. Following this association, La Liga has become the first football league to have its presence on Amazon.

The La Liga store will be dedicatedly available on Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.it, Amazon.fr, and Amazon.de. Through these stores, the La Liga fans could purchase different merchandise and products from 13 La Liga Santander clubs.

Initially, this experience has been made available to the fans located in the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. However, both entities have plans to expand their business to other areas in the year 2022. La Liga looks forward to roping in some more fans through the new store.

The products and merchandise have already been made available from December 29. The fans can currently find items of the following La Liga clubs, Getafe, Cadiz, Granada, Athletic ClubLevanteVillarealReal Sociedad, Deportivo Alaves, RCD Espanyol, RCD Mallorca, Celta de Vigo, Real Betis, and Osasuna.

Currently, La Liga fans can find more than 1,600 different products from the above-mentioned 13 teams. This will include sportswear for both men and women, while different designs of mugs, toys, and household items could also be found which can be bought via Amazon.

Speaking on the occasion, Oscar Mayo, LaLiga Executive Director, said: “For LaLiga, it’s very important to offer LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank clubs all possible tools in order to bring our league closer to our fans around the world. Through this exciting collaboration with Amazon, we are continuing to develop our internationalisation strategy and we can boost the growth of the competition and its clubs.”

He added, “For now, we have 13 LaLiga Santander clubs participating in this project, with the LaLiga store to launch from December 29th in the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Germany. Our goal is to bring more LaLiga clubs on board and to be present in more regions around the world, with these to be announced during the first quarter of 2022.”
