USL announces long-term partnership with Sportradar

Sportradar becomes USL's official betting and technology partner, gaining exclusive rights to distribute data, live streaming, and media for global sports betting.

The United Soccer League (USL), North America’s largest professional soccer organisation, has announced a long-term partnership with Sportradar, a global leader in sports betting and data solutions.

This exclusive deal positions Sportradar as USL’s official betting and technology partner, enabling Sportradar to collect, license and distribute USL’s official betting and media data, and offer live streaming of USL competitions for sports betting to its global network.

The collaboration will see Sportradar provide a comprehensive suite of services to USL, including Integrity Services like bet monitoring facilitated by the Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS), Intelligence and Investigation (I&I), Integrity Audit, and Education and Prevention initiatives, including anti-match fixing workshops. These measures will contribute to maintaining the fair play and competitive integrity of USL matches.

With this partnership, encompassing over 600 matches per year across USL Championship, USL League One, and the newly formed USL Super League launching in August 2024, USL appears poised for continued expansion and international recognition, paving the way for a brighter future for the sport.

Notably, just last month, Sportradar extended its long-term partnership with Bundesliga International.

USL has over 30 teams across three divisions. Last month, the league secured a multi-year broadcasting renewal with ESPN and extended its partnership with the data provider Stats Perform.
