The MMA competition, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has collaborated with the digital technology firm, Dapper Labs, to launch an NFT collectibles series named ‘UFC Strike’. The inaugural pack would be available to the fans on January 23, 2022.
This collectibles will include the grandest and iconic duels of the fighting tournament and the fans would get the chance to own them in a verifiable manner. The first pack drop will consist of 200,000 total packs with the initial round showcasing 100,000 ‘Fully Loaded’ collections. Each pack would include three prominent moments from the UFC that would contain some incredible fighter prowess of notable stars captured through multiple camera angles, exciting crowd cheers and professional announcer commentary. Through this partnership, both the firms aim to etch the memorabilia of UFC in the lives and accounts of its followers.
The Senior Vice President of Global Consumer Products at UFC, Tracey Bleczinski, commented on this most awaited launch, “Dapper Labs is an innovator in this field, creating an industry that didn’t exist a few years ago. Dapper Labs is a blockchain-based firm that has established its name as the producer of NFTs for various sports in the industry. The brand has generated similar collectibles series for NBA that is the ‘Top Shot’ series, for NFL which is the ‘All Day’ edition and will soon be unveiling an NFT collection for LaLiga.
