La Liga launches NFT collectibles in association with Dapper Labs

This new experience is based on Flow blockchain similar to that in NBA Top Shot to verify the authenticity of the digital collectibles.

Spanish football’s top flight, La Liga has newly launched its NFT collectible tokens in association with the blockchain-enabled company Dapper Labs. This newly launched programme will enable fans to be more connected with their favourite teams. This new experience will be available on Flow blockchain for the fans from June 2022. It will enhance the experience for the fans and they will feel more connected to the club by knowing about the history.

Supporters will be able to collect some of the most iconic and historic in-game moments of their favourite teams. Iconic moments will include dynamic video series from various clubs including Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla FC, Villarreal CF, Valencia CF, Real Betis, Athletic Club, Real Sociedad, RCD Mallorca and many others over the last ten seasons.

They will have the opportunity to buy, collect and own some of these iconic moments. All payments for these digital collectibles will be made through credit card or through the Dapper wallet. They will also have the opportunity to buy and trade iconic moments in a digital marketplace with other fans. Moreover, one lucky fan will also get the opportunity to watch the Real Madrid CF vs FC Barcelona (El Classico) match live from the VIP Box with lucky contests also being organised.
