Sunderland AFC strike multi-year alliance with Destination Sport

Destination Sport Travel will assist Sunderland AFC's travel and lodging needs throughout its men's, women's, and academy teams.

The English Football League (EFL) Championship team, Sunderland AFC have announced a multi-year association with the specialist sports travel group, Destination Sport.

Sunderland AFC has reached an expanded deal with Destination Sport Travel and inspiresport after first collaborating with the fan travel arm of the company, Sportsbreaks.com, during the club’s preseason tour of the United States.

Destination Sport Travel, the UK’s premier travel management solution for professional sports organizations, will assist the club’s travel and lodging needs throughout its men’s, women’s, and academy teams.

Its subsidiary company, inspiresport, will additionally offer schools and grassroots clubs the opportunity to participate in official SAFC development tours, featuring sessions of training at the Academy of Light guided by club coaches.

Sunderland AFC are currently ninth in the EFL Championship standings with seven points from five games. Before the international break, the side claimed a 5-0 win over Southampton FC and will now take on Queens Park Rangers (QPR) on September 16.
