Real Betis signs sponsorship deal with Volvo

The two Volvo dealerships in Seville will be promoted across all of the club's media channels with main advertising spots.

Real Betis has announced a new deal with Volvo. In this agreement, the LaLiga club has announced Volvo as one of the club’s main sponsors.

The two Volvo dealerships in Seville will be promoted across all of the club’s media channels with main advertising spots and hospitality. Special promotion and content on Real Betis’ digital and social networks will also be included.

Along with this, Real Betis and Coosur Real Betis squads will have access to Volvo vehicles such as hybrid and plug-in hybrid models.

Real Betis has promoted sustainability through its Forever Green programme. With this deal, Volvo will use football to mitigate the effects of climate change.

Volvo committed in 2017 to gradually phase out combustion engines and electrify their entire vehicle lineup. Since 2019, all Volvo models carry a plug-in hybrid option. The XC40 and C40 models are also currently available in pure electric form. The company is also committed to reducing CO2 emissions by 40% by 2025 compared to 2018 across its entire production and distribution chain.

Real Betis, General Business Manager, Ramón Alarcón, said, “At Real Betis, we are really proud to join our brand to Volvo, one of the referents in the automobile sector in the world. We also do it by making a bid on sustainable mobility with the hybrid and plug-in hybrid models. Our platform Forever Green has been one of the main reasons why Volvo decided to walk this way with Real Betis and we are very satisfied by that.”
