PSL 7 Sponsors Watch: Quetta Gladiators

The franchise has had one of the most successful stints in the domestic T20 tournament of Pakistan.

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise, Quetta Gladiators has kickstarted its season seven campaign with a loss against Peshawar Zalmi. The popular franchise was established in 2015 and is owned by the notable industrialist Nadeem Omar. The franchise proudly represents the capital city of Balochistan, Quetta.

The franchise has had one of the most successful stints in the domestic T20 tournament of Pakistan. The team has been the runner-up of the first two seasons of the competition and finally got crowned as champion in the 2019 edition by defeating Peshawar Zalmi by eight wickets.

With the likes of Jason Roy, Shahid Afridi and Shimron Hetmyer, the franchise would aim to recreate its 2019 achievement this season.

Quetta Gladiators has not only performed excellently on the cricket pitch but has also been very smart on the commercial pitch as well. The franchise has got some big names under its sponsorship portfolio and significantly elated its brand recognition and outreach through them.

Earlier this month, the team announced the perfume firm, Hemani as its Official Sports Fragrance Partner. Followed by it, the franchise continued and extended its association with the construction company, BRB Group, which currently serves as the Titanium Sponsor and Housing Partner of the team. In addition to it, the franchise also renewed its association with the notable banking unit, Soneri Bank as the Official Banking Partner for PSL 7.

The team further strengthened its stance by partnering with the mother and baby health care products platform, Meiji to make the firm a Platinum Partner. As the tournament came to its commencement, the side signed several new brands as sponsors. 

The new deals include the appointment of the clothing brand, Narkins as the Official Eastern Wear Partner and the Chinese-American unit, Lenovo as the Official Technology Partner. The franchise also brought in Dawaai as an Official Sponsor and extended its contract with the global food brand, KFC.
