The Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise, Quetta Gladiators has extended its association with the design and construction firm BRB Group for the seventh season. This partnership was inked last season and has been continued for the upcoming season. This collaboration made BRB Group the official titanium sponsor and housing partner of the team.
Both the signatories revealed the extension through their social media handles with a post that said, “The Quetta Gladiators and BRB Group partnership continues as Titanium sponsor for the Pakistan Super League Season-7.”
The MoU was signed between the Director of Quetta Gladiators, Mr Hasan Omar and the owner of BRB Group, Mr Khawaja Bilal Azam for this association in the presence of the team’s captain Sarfaraz Ahmed and the legendary Shahid Afridi.
This franchise has performed well in Pakistan’s domestic prominent cricket league, being the runners up in the first two editions and then winning the trophy in 2019. The team contains the likes of Andre Russell, Shahid Afridi and mentor Viv Richards and would aim to repeat the 2019 success. With this renewal and the recent appointment of Hemani as its official sports fragrance partner, the team has strengthened its sponsorship portfolio.
The PSL franchises so far have gathered a plethora of sponsors ahead of the highly anticipated seventh season. Lahore Qalandars has partnered with Marina Sports City and PUBG Mobile. Islamabad United has renewed its association with CityFM89 while Multan Sultans has announced a new collaboration with Mukhtar A. Sheikh Hospital. The thrilling T20 tournament is starting on January 27.
Quetta Gladiators will play its first game on January 28 against Peshawar Zalmi.
