Peshawar Zalmi bag partnership extension with Dawn Media Group

The extension will see Dawn Media Group continue to be the exclusive media group partner of Peshawar Zalmi for PSL 9.  

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) outfit, Peshawar Zalmi have signed a partnership extension with the renowned Pakistani media group, Dawn Media Group.

The extension will see Dawn Media Group continue to be the exclusive media group partner of the unit for the forthcoming PSL 9.  

The franchise through its social media platforms expressed its delight on this extension with the caption, “Proud to continue our partnership with Dawn Media Group as Peshawar Zalmi’s Exclusive Media Group Partner for #HBLPSL9. Here’s to 7 amazing years of our mega partnership 💛 ⚡️”.

Before this development, the Peshawar-based side prolonged its association with Haier

The Dawn Media Group, a media organisation from Karachi, Pakistan, runs websites, radio stations, a TV channel, and the Dawn Newspaper. Muhammad Ali Jinnah started the media group on February 1, 1947.

The Babar Azam-led team had a good run in the last edition, as the unit qualified for the knock-out stage, but the campaign couldn’t go further, as the side faced a defeat against Lahore Qalandars in the second eliminator in Lahore. 

The Zalmis formed a formidable side during the PSL 9 draft that includes players like Babar Azam, Saim Ayub, Rovman Powell, Aamir Jamal, Naveen-Ul-Haq, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, and Noor Ahmad.

The Peshawar-based side will commence its PSL 9 campaign against Quetta Gladiators on Sunday, February 18 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
