Owned by the Chennai-based Sun Group, Red FM is an Indian FM radio network with its headquarters in the capital city of Tamil Nadu. Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam are among the Indian languages that the network transmits content in 64 Indian cities.

The three-time champions of the prestigious kabaddi competition had a very poor performance in the previous season as the unit finished tenth in the league table.
