Yassir’s purpose of teaming up with PSG was to enhance its outreach in seven countries – Algeria, Canada, France, Morocco, Senegal, South Africa and Tunisia – where the entity already has a firm grip.
Through this collaboration, Yassir has obtained the rights to be featured on the LEDs at the Parisians’ home stadium, Parc des Princes and to leverage the exorbitant following of PSG on social media to gather more users by unique campaigns.
Noureddine Tayebi, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Yassir platform, said, “Yassir is the largest on-demand services and payments company in North Africa. In five years, we have become established in seven countries and over fifty cities across the globe. We are confident that our alliance with Paris Saint-Germain, a French club that has become a truly global brand, will enable us to expand into other regional, continental, and world markets. We cannot wait to treat our loyal customers to a unique experience with Paris Saint-Germain.“
Marc Armstrong, Chief Revenue Officer at Paris Saint-Germain, added, “We are delighted to team up with a company that shares our philosophy. Yassir and Paris Saint-Germain both want to explore new horizons and are determined to push boundaries in order to continue enriching the experience of our supporters and customers alike.”
The Ligue 1 unit and the Algeria-based entity, to commemorate the arrangement, will collaborate to come up with riveting ideas for Yassir’s eight million users worldwide. Yassir’s inception took place in 2017 and was founded by Noureddine Tayebi.
In the previous season, PSG won the French top-flight football competition by securing 85 points. The 2023/24 edition of Ligue 1 kicked off earlier today and the Luis Enrique’s men will commence the season against Lorient tomorrow at 12:30 AM IST.
