Paris Saint-Germain inks partnership with AJE Group

VOLT and Big Cola have been named as the official beverage partner of PSG in specific countries.

The Ligue 1 outfit, Paris Saint-Germain has penned down a partnership with the multinational beverage manufacturer, AJE Group. Following this association, AJE Group has been labelled as the regional partner of the French football giants, with the partnership running until June 2024.

Adding to it, the two beverage brands of AJE Group, VOLT and Big Cola have been named as the official beverage partner of PSG in specific countries.

VOLT, which is the world’s fifth selling energy drink, has been labelled as the official energy drink partner of the Parisian club in Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Mexico, and Egypt.

While BIG COLA, which is the world’s fourth selling carbonated soft drink, has been tagged with the title of official soft drink partner in India, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cameroon, Bhutan, and Venezuela.

Speaking on the occasion, Augusto Bauer, Deputy CEO of the AJE Group, said: “This agreement with Paris Saint-Germain is very important to us, as it marks a milestone for the AJE Group and we hope that it will get stronger every day. We are becoming a regional partner of PSG through the VOLT brand in 11 Latin America countries and with BIG Cola mainly in East Asia. Together we are going to do very interesting things.

Adding to it, Marc Armstrong, Chief Partnerships Officer of Paris Saint-Germain said: “We are delighted to team up with VOLT and BIG COLA as regional partners. We both share strong ambitions to develop our Brands’ presence worldwide while offering the best possible experience to our passionate audiences. We are looking forward to working together to create exclusive content and reach out to millions of fans in these territories.

AJE was founded 30 years back by the Ananos family in Ayacucho, Peru, and currently, it is privately owned by Grupo Embotellador ATIC of Madrid, Spain. The headquarter of the beverage manufacturer is in Lima, Peru, and in Madrid, Spain.

On the field, PSG will be playing against FC Lorient in their next Ligue 1 fixture, scheduled on December 23. The Parisians are currently sitting first in the league table, collecting 45 points in their last 18 games.
