ONE Championship joins forces with Horizon Sports & Experiences to enhance sponsorships in US

HS&E will be in charge of growing and diversifying ONE's sponsorship roster to include fresh and cutting-edge brand partners.

The biggest martial arts organisation in the world, ONE Championship (ONE) has announced a new alliance with Horizon Sports & Experiences (HS&E). The agency will assist in managing ONE’s sponsorship, entitlement, and brand activation initiatives in the United States under the terms of the agreement.

As per the association, HS&E will be in charge of growing and diversifying ONE’s sponsorship roster to include fresh and cutting-edge brand partners. In addition to brand activation for related ancillary experiences, HS&E will identify, negotiate, and represent sponsorship and entitlement arrangements that include brands in ONE live event in a variety of ways. HS&E will also offer ONE its whole portfolio of data and analytics services and solutions as part of its ongoing efforts to improve brand and consumer experiences.

Chatri Sityodtong, Chairman and CEO of ONE, commented, “We’re thrilled to partner with Horizon Sports & Experiences as we prepare to officially launch in the U.S. The U.S. is the world’s largest and most sophisticated sports and entertainment market and home to the world’s most elite sports leagues and properties. We’re grateful for HS&E’s staunch support to help us scale and succeed as we host our dynamic martial arts events live for the first time in front of our passionate U.S. fan base.”

Nielsen rates ONE as one of the top five worldwide sports properties in terms of viewership and engagement. With top competitors from over 80 nations fighting in MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, submission grappling, and other disciplines, ONE showcases the whole range of martial arts.

The flyweight world champion Demetrious Johnson against Adriano Moraes trilogy bout is the main event of ONE’s first event on American soil, which takes place in Colorado on May 5. Live coverage of the event will be provided by Prime Video in the US and Canada. The two firms signed a multi-year arrangement in 2022 under which Prime Video would stream 12 live ONE martial arts events each year.

David Levy, Co-CEO of HS&E, said, “ONE Championship is one of the biggest sports media properties in the world, and we’re excited to partner with them. As ONE Championship embarks on its U.S. debut next month, this is the perfect time to collaboratively work together to break new boundaries, create innovative sponsorships and activations for brands looking to connect with the unequivocal leader in martial arts and its engaged fan base.”

The founders and co-CEOs of HS&E, which was established in the fall of 2022, are David Levy and Chris Weil. Since its debut six months ago, HS&E has entered into deals with a number of organisations, including the NBA, Top Rank Boxing, Learfield, PayPal, Mohegan Sun, and M&T Bank.
