Nucor to feature on Carolina Hurricanes’ jersey

In this agreement, Nucor has been named the official jersey patch sponsor of Carolina Hurricanes. 

The National Hockey League (NHL) team, Carolina Hurricanes have signed a partnership with the American steel company, Nucor.

In this agreement, Nucor has been named the official jersey patch sponsor of the Hurricanes. 

According to the new agreement, all Hurricanes jerseys will now include the Nucor logo on the upper chest until the conclusion of the 2026–2027 season.

The team will also be selling Nucor patches to fans who would like to add them to their collection of memorabilia.

Furthermore, Nucor will serve as the principal presenter for the Hurricanes’ Community Heroes Programme, which recognises community members at Hurricanes games for their achievements in sustainability and education.

Don Waddell, President and General Manager of the Carolina Hurricanes, said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Nucor as our first-ever jersey patch sponsor. Nucor is based here in North Carolina and shares our values of teamwork and sustainability. We’re proud to add their logo to our uniform.”

Nucor Corporation, the 16th-largest steel manufacturer in the world, is a North Carolina-based company that manufactures steel and associated goods. It is the biggest scrap recycler in North America as well as the biggest manufacturer of steel in the US.
