New Zealand Cricket ropes in Castore as official technical kit supplier

Through this deal, the British brand will be seen supplying its curated kits that will be donned by the Blackcaps, the White Ferns, and the staff members.

The governing body for cricket in New Zealand, the New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has signed a six-year agreement with the British sportswear manufacturer, Castore.

With this development, which kicks off in 2024, Castore has been named the official technical kit supplier of New Zealand Cricket.

Through this deal, the British brand will be seen supplying its curated kits that will be donned by the Blackcaps (men’s national cricket team), the White Ferns (women’s national cricket team), and the staff members. The company will also produce the jerseys as merchandise for the fans.

This contract helped the British sportswear entity to mark its entry into the Kiwi sporting ecosystem, and also added another team to its kit portfolio, along with England’s national cricket team and South Africa’s national cricket team.

Commenting on this remarkable partnership, Chris Smith, General Manager for Commercial at NZC, said, “There is significant alignment between the values and objectives of NZC, and Castore. A partnership with Castore presents opportunities for NZC to better serve the high-performance needs of our players, to build on the NZC, Blackcaps [men’s national team] and White Ferns [women’s national team] brands, and to meet the changing preferences of fans.”

Tom Beahon, Co-Founder of Castore, said, “This latest union further cements Castore’s presence and commitment to the sporting landscape globally as we continue to partner with teams at the elite level of the game.”
