The Pakistan Super League (PSL) outfit, Islamabad United has announced an extension of its collaboration with CityFM89 as the Official English Radio Partner for the upcoming PSL edition.
According to the previous agreement, the most successful franchise in PSL history will provide CityFM89 exclusive content along with appearances on its program.
Islamabad United announced the contract extension through an Instagram post which said, “Islamabad United to continue its partnership with @cityfm89 as our Official English Radio Partners for the #HBLPSL7.”
CityFM89 is a Pakistani radio station that broadcasts from Karachi, Faisalabad, Islamabad and Lahore. It was founded in July 2004 as a subsidiary of the Dawn Media Group. CityFM89’s mission is to provide listeners with creative, high-quality entertainment while also providing advertisers with a focused and dependable platform.
Last month, Islamabad United also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Radio Pakistan.
Islamabad United is the most successful PSL team, having won two titles in the past. Multan Sultans are the current defending champions, having won the 2021 season.
The seventh HBL Pakistan Super League will begin on January 27 at Karachi’s National Stadium. Multan Sultans will face Karachi Kings in the season opener. The tournament final will be held on February 27 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
