Islamabad United signs MOU with Radio Pakistan

Radio Pakistan is regaining its former glory by providing people with high-quality commentary.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in Lahore between Radio Pakistan and Islamabad United in connection with the Pakistan Super League.

Nazakat Shakila, Station Director Radio Pakistan Lahore, and Rehan-Ul-Haq, Manager Islamabad United were present at the signing ceremony, which was held at the Broadcasting House in Lahore.

Commenting on the occasion, the off-spin bowler, Saeed Ajmal praised Radio Pakistan’s role in promoting cricket in the country and stated that shared efforts are required in this regard. He also mentioned that Radio Pakistan is regaining its former glory by providing people with high-quality commentary.

Speaking with the participants, cricketer Asif Ali stated that talented and hard-working youngsters must be given a chance to play at the national level, and Islamabad United has taken several steps toward that end.

Rehan-Ul-Haq, manager of Islamabad United also thanked Radio Pakistan for signing an agreement with his team. He further promised more joint ventures between Radio Pakistan and Islamabad United in various fields.

The station’s director, Nazakat Shakila, thanked the officials of Islamabad United for their confidence in Radio Pakistan. She stated that radio and cricket are inextricably linked and promoting the PSL is a national duty of every Pakistani.
